Reservation & Cancellation Policies

  • As a luxury, you may purchase and reserve your classes up to 7 days in advance online.  During the busier yoga seasons we highly recommend this option as we can't always guarantee you a spot if you arrive as a walk in
  • If you have pre-registered online you must arrive no later than 5 minutes before class to check in. If you fail to arrive 5 minutes before class your spot will be released to another student.
  • If you are unable to attend your reserved class, you must cancel online. Cancellations must be made via WellnessLiving a minimum of TWO HOURS prior to the start of class (sorry, phone calls not accepted for cancellations as we may not be able to answer or check voicemail in time).
  • If you fail to cancel your reservation in your WellnessLiving schedule, you will forfeit your payment for that class as follows:

New Client Special: You will have 3 days of your pass deducted.

Single, 10 Class Cards + Flex Plans:

You will automatically be deducted for 1 class credit.

Wellness Members: $10 cancellation fee

General Preparation for Class

  • All students must sign-in at the Front Desk no later than 5 minutes before class begins.
  • Please observe basic hygiene. It is imperative that proper deodorants and body wash be used before attending class.
  • It is not recommended to practice yoga on a full stomach, eat a couple hours before class time.
  • Wear comfortable exercise clothing that permits freedom of movement.  Clothing bottoms that offer appropriate full coverage is required.
  • Refrain from wearing strong perfume, cologne or scented oils during class, as some people do have allergies and we are sharing space with everyone.
  • NO smoking before class.  We are sharing spaces together and we can smell the smoke.
  • Towels are not provided.
  • Bring a large towel to place over your mat to soak up the sweat.
  • Bring a water bottle or purchase one at the front desk.  We have water fountains for you to refill.

Respect for the Rising Om Community
  • If you are waiting outside the yoga room please speak quietly while a class is in progress.  Yes, they can hear you!
  • Be on time. Please be seated in the yoga room a few minutes before the start of each class. Each class is organized with a beginning, middle and end, all of which contribute to your experience. If you come in late to class, you not only miss a part of this experience and put yourself at risk for injury, but you will disrupt the yoga experience for someone else as well
  • To limit disruptions during class, we ask that latecomers wait outside the yoga room door until the teacher is in between teaching a posture. No student is allowed to enter class beyond 8 minutes of class starting.
  • Turn off cell phones and smart watches while you are in class. NO cell phones in the yoga room, unless discussed with your teacher.  Use of smart watches during class is prohibited.
  • No shoes, bags, purses, devices, food allowed in classrooms.
  • If you need to leave the yoga room, please do so in between postures. When returning please do the same.
  • Please avoid leaving class early. THIS INCLUDES SAVASANA. This is part of our sacred yoga practice and it is distracting to your teacher and peers to leave during this quiet moment of reflection and cool down.  If you do need to leave early, please kindly let the teacher know before class and do so before savasana begins.
  • NO chewing gum during class.
  • You are responsible for your personal belongings, Rising Om Yoga is not responsible for any lost items.
  • Please support our intention of creating a non-competitive and peaceful environment.

Children:
Children under 15 years of age must have an adult taking class with them.   We love having kiddos in class but they must be able to follow along without being disruptive to the rest of the class.  Sorry, No children are allowed to wait in the lobby during class or wait in the back of classrooms.
